you are the last person on earth driving across the country switching cars whenever your current one runs out of gas. spray painting any and every old government building. making sure that when you are long dead and the rest of humanity is even longer dead, the beings that come across earth know that you were the ruler of this world. you spend your days collecting cassettes and looting gas stations for batteries that will allow you to listen to music well into your 50s, you collect books too, you've started reading them with a torch light when your earthly regrets keep you up late into the night. Every few months you take a trip into a big city and shout from the rooftops hoping someone hollers back, you already accepted you were the last one but you cant shake the desire to at least try and look for someone else.

Complete freedom total isolation, the only thing that keeps you going is the feeling that something is gonna come back to earth one day and see the excess humanity once lived in and know you were the one that outlasted it all.
